Boleros en Jazz brings together the passion of Latin American music and the expressive freedom of jazz in an intimate and sophisticated live performance. The project is the result of a collaboration between lyrical singer Andrés Rodríguez and jazz pianist Giovanni Ghizzani, who reinterpret iconic boleros and beloved songs from the Latin American repertoire through a fresh and contemporary musical perspective.
Andrés’ powerful and emotive voice gives each song a profound sense of drama, tenderness and nostalgia, while Giovanni’s original piano arrangements introduce new harmonies, improvisation and moments of spontaneous musical dialogue. Together, they transform familiar melodies into unique interpretations, balancing the intensity and elegance of classical vocal expression with the creativity and freedom of jazz.
