I was born in London and raised in Lagos, before returning to the UK to complete my education. Since then, I have lived in Venice and I now call Barcelona home. I speak English, Yoruba, Italian and Spanish.

My passion for creating Velvet Room comes from the wonderful memories I have of spending time in a piano bar in Mykonos, where I would often take to the stage impromptu and entertain the guests.

While living in Venice, I also organised a hugely popular annual boat party for several years, performing cabaret for an international crowd, many of whom returned year after year.

I also bring extensive experience in delivering exceptional customer service, built over nearly 28 years in the airline industry, where I worked for one of the world’s best-known brands as a Cabin Service Director.
