On November 21, Velvet Room is taking you back to the Roaring Twenties, when jazz was taking over the dance floors, swing was everywhere and a night out was an occasion to dress up for.
Led by Hungarian jazz vocalist Ivett Karasz, alongside Italian pianist Giovanni Ghizzani and double bassist Jacob Marce, The Roaring Twenties brings the spirit of the Jazz Age to life through music and storytelling.
Inspired by the jazz and swing classics of the 1920s and 1930s, the performance follows the twists and turns of romance, from the excitement of flirtation and falling in love to heartbreak, letting go and starting all over again. Expect playful melodies, a little mischief and plenty of swing.
And this time, we want you to be part of the show.
Think pearls, feathers, vintage dresses, sharp suits and your best Gatsby-inspired look. We're inviting everyone to dress up in the style of the Roaring Twenties and help us bring the atmosphere of the era to Velvet Room.
