22:00-23:50
London-born singer, songwriter and producer Lisa Rudy joins Italian jazz pianist Giovanni Ghizzani for a night of jazz, soul and contemporary music at Velvet Room.
With a career spanning the UK, Ibiza and the international music scene, Lisa brings a powerful, soulful voice shaped by years of performing across jazz, funk, gospel and R&B. Her experience includes sharing the stage with artists such as Nile Rodgers, Nona Hendryx and Barbara Tucker.
On piano, Giovanni Ghizzani brings a different musical background. Trained at Siena Jazz and the Conservatory of Bologna, he has developed his own approach to jazz through improvisation, composition and a deep understanding of the instrument.
Together, they move between jazz and soul, bringing Lisa's rich vocals and Giovanni's improvisational piano playing into a stripped-back performance where both musicians have space to explore the music.
Join us on November 7 for an evening with two experienced artists who know how to make a voice and a piano go a long way.
